Apply for EAFPS Auspices
Getting your event endorsed by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery is a straightforward process that brings credibility, visibility, and direct access to our network of surgeons across Europe and beyond. This guide walks you through each step, from eligibility to submission and approval.
Check your eligibility
Before applying, confirm your event meets the EAFPS requirements for endorsement. The event must demonstrate an outstanding academic and didactic level assessed at the discretion of the EAFPS Executive Board and National Delegates.
The responsible organiser must be an active EAFPS member. The programme with confirmed speakers must be submitted no later than 4 months before the event date.
EAFPS members must be offered a registration fee reduction of 15% or more.
EAFPS membership request forms and printed materials provided by the secretariat must be distributed during the event.
A full participant list including email and postal addresses must be sent to eafps@eafps.org no later than 2 weeks after the event.
A post-event report must be submitted to eafps@eafps.org no later than 14 days after the event.

- Use of the EAFPS logo on printed material (flyer, advertisement, programme)
- 3 email announcements from the EAFPS Secretariat to all members sent 11, 5, and 2 months before the event
- Listing on eafps.org with indication of EAFPS endorsement
- Announcement in the EAFPS Newsletter
- Publication of a short post-event report in the EAFPS Newsletter (to be provided by the organiser)
Note on timing: events endorsed between 11 and 8 months in advance receive email alerts at endorsement, then 5 and 2 months prior. Events endorsed between 5 and 3 months in advance receive alerts at endorsement and 2 months prior.

Gather the following before submitting your application:
Required: event title, date and location, full programme with confirmed speakers, organiser contact details, confirmation of EAFPS member discount (≥15%), EAFPS membership status of the responsible organiser.
Optional but recommended: event website URL, promotional materials (flyer, poster), expected number of participants.

Complete the online application & payment
Auspices fee: €400 (all courses)
Payment is processed directly at the time of submission. Your application will then be forwarded to the EAFPS Board for review and approval.
Board review & confirmation
Once your application and payment are received, the EAFPS Executive Board reviews your request.
- Review of the academic and didactic level of the programme
- Confirmation of organiser EAFPS membership
- Formal written approval sent by email
- Event listed on eafps.org and included in member communications

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the responsible organiser need to be a Full Member?
Yes, the responsible organiser must be an active EAFPS member. Contact eafps@eafps.org if you need to verify your membership status.
Can I use the EAFPS logo before receiving written approval?
No. Use of the EAFPS logo is only permitted after written approval from the EAFPS Board, and is strictly limited to material directly related to the endorsed event.
What if my event is the EAFPS Annual Meeting?
Organisers of the EAFPS Annual Meeting benefit from privileged conditions. Please indicate this in your application by checking the “EAFPS Annual Meeting” box in the form.
What happens if I don't submit the post-event report?
Submission of a post-event report within 14 days is a requirement of endorsement. Failure to submit may affect eligibility for future auspices applications.
Can I submit an event that has already taken place?
No. Applications must be submitted at least 4 months before the event date to allow time for member communications and endorsement review.
What is the EAFPS Newsletter and how widely is it distributed?
The EAFPS Newsletter is distributed to all EAFPS members across Europe and internationally. Endorsed events receive a dedicated announcement and, after the event, a published report.
