1) What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, mobile, tablet) when you visit a website. Other technologies may also be used (pixels, tags, local storage, identifiers, etc.); these are referred to more broadly as trackers.
2) Why do we use cookies?
We use cookies and trackers to:
- ensure the operation and security of the Site (essential cookies);
- manage memberships, the shopping cart, checkout and secure payments;
- measure audience and improve the Site (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity);
- manage the triggering of scripts via Google Tag Manager / Google Site Kit;
- enable third-party features and content, such as embedded videos from our Video Library (YouTube) and social media feeds;
- manage newsletters and member communications (Mailchimp), subject to your agreement.
3) Consent and management of your choices
Cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the Site may be placed without your consent. Other cookies (statistics, marketing, third-party content, etc.) are only placed after you have given your agreement.
On your first visit, a banner allows you to:
- accept the cookies,
- reject them,
- or manage your choices by purpose.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie management link available on the Site.
Retention period of your choice: we keep your choice (acceptance or rejection) for 12 months.
4) Categories of cookies used on this Site
A) Functional cookies (always active)These cookies are essential to the operation of the Site (security, display, session management, saving your preferences, recording your cookie choice). They cannot be disabled. Our Site uses WordPress and WooCommerce; certain technical cookies may be placed depending on the features used (e.g. session management, cart and checkout, login, security, administration) and to process payments securely via our payment provider.
B) Preference cookies (optional)These cookies enable certain third-party features and content, in particular embedded videos from our Video Library (YouTube), maps and social media content. If you decline, this embedded content remains disabled.
C) Statistics cookies (optional)These cookies help us understand how the Site is used (for example pages viewed, interactions, performance) in order to improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), via Google Tag Manager / Google Site Kit, and Microsoft Clarity. If you decline, audience measurement is not activated on your device.
D) Marketing cookies (optional)These cookies allow us to measure the effectiveness of our communications and, where applicable, to offer you more relevant content on third-party platforms. Subject to your agreement, we use technologies associated with our newsletter and social media channels (Mailchimp, and our Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube pages).
5) Google Consent Mode v2 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2. Depending on your choices (acceptance/rejection), Google tags receive a consent signal and adapt their behaviour, in particular by limiting the reading/writing of cookies associated with the Statistics and/or Marketing purposes.
6) Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console for SEO monitoring (a tool measuring performance in search results). This tool is used on the publisher’s side and does not, in itself, involve adding a visitor-tracking script comparable to Google Analytics.
7) How to change your preferences?
You can:
- use the cookie management link at any time to change your preferences;
- configure your browser to block or delete cookies (the procedure varies depending on the browser).
