Following the excellent feedback from our first UK FACE webinar on 14 June, we are delighted to bring together an outstanding international faculty of rhinoplasty surgeons for a direct, practical and contemporary discussion on what is changing in rhinoplasty in 2026.
With the football World Cup spirit in the air, the World Cup of Rhinoplasty brings together different countries, different philosophies, different techniques and different schools of thought all in one live educational session.
This webinar is designed for colleagues with a serious interest in rhinoplasty who want to hear how experienced surgeons approach the key controversies that continue to shape modern practice.
The discussion will include:
Preservation vs structural rhinoplasty
Where is the balance in 2026? Which patients are suitable for preservation, and when is structural reconstruction still the safer and more predictable option?
Ultrasonic / piezo osteotomies vs traditional osteotomies
What does the evidence suggest, where does ultrasonic rhinoplasty genuinely add value, and where does the enthusiasm need to be balanced with surgical judgment?
Tip stability and long-term control
How should we think about projection, rotation, septal extension grafts, columellar support, lateral crural management and the problem of tip drop over time?
Dorsal aesthetic lines and mid-vault control
How do expert surgeons create elegant dorsal lines while preserving airway, avoiding mid-vault collapse and maintaining long-term stability?
Endonasal / closed rhinoplasty in modern practice
In an era where open rhinoplasty is dominant, what role does expert endonasal rhinoplasty still have, and where can it offer real advantages?
The crooked, asymmetric and difficult nose
How should we approach complex deviation, asymmetry, septal deformity, bony vault problems and functional compromise?
Function, airway and nasal valve decision-making
How do we integrate aesthetics with breathing, septal correction, internal and external nasal valve support and patient-reported outcome measures?
Revision prevention and avoiding fashionable mistakes
Which techniques are genuinely advancing rhinoplasty, and which current trends may create problems in the future?
This will not be a basic introductory lecture. It will be a live, surgeon-to-surgeon discussion between colleagues who deal with these problems every day and who are helping shape contemporary rhinoplasty thinking.
The webinar is free and educational in its own right, while also serving as an introduction to the wider academic platform of the UK FACE Congress 2026. Naturally, a 2–3 hour online session cannot cover every operative step or every topic in full detail. The aim is to open the key debates, share practical perspectives, and continue these discussions in greater depth at the in-person congress.
Faculty includes:
Dr Fas Arshad Moderator – Leeds, UK
Prof. Sureyya Seneldir – Istanbul, Turkey
Dr Jamil Asaria – Toronto, Canada
Dr Ramtin Kassir – New York, USA
Dr William Townley – London, UK
Dr Masoud Saman – New York, USA
Dr Ramon Tarragona – Barcelona, Spain
Prof. Holger Gassner – Regensburg, Germany
For anyone serious about modern rhinoplasty, this is one to attend live. The value will be in the direct discussion, the differences in opinion, and the opportunity to hear how high-level surgeons think through the same problems from different perspectives.
