The 3rd HIFPS International Course in Facial Plastic Surgery is an intensive three-day educational course combining focused theoretical teaching with 18 hours of supervised hands-on training on fresh-frozen cadaveric specimens.

β’ Fresh-frozen cadaveric dissection
β’ Step-by-step surgical demonstrations

β Rhinoplasty β Days 1 & 2
The first two days are dedicated to contemporary rhinoplasty techniques, including:
β’ Surgical access and dissection
β’ Septal preparation and cartilage harvesting
β’ Dorsal modification
β’ Structural grafting
β’ Tip surgery and stabilization techniques
β’ Osteotomies
β’ Diced cartilage and PRF applications
β Facelift & Neck Lift β Day 3
The third day focuses on modern facelift and neck-lift surgery, including:
β’ Facial and cervical surgical anatomy
β’ Neck dissection and platysma management
β’ SMAS plication and imbrication
β’ Deep-plane facelift techniques
β’ Safe tissue dissection and repositioning
β’ Prevention of surgical complications
π Educational Approach
Each module combines surgical video demonstrations with supervised cadaveric dissection, allowing participants to perform the techniques themselves under close faculty guidance.
The course is designed to translate anatomical knowledge and contemporary surgical concepts into practical and reproducible surgical techniques, with particular emphasis on safe dissection, surgical precision and complication prevention.
An experienced multidisciplinary faculty from facial plastic, otolaryngologic, plastic and maxillofacial surgery will provide an intensive educational environment for surgeons wishing to further develop their practical skills in modern facial plastic surgery.

CME-CPD Accreditation
The course has been submitted for CME-CPD accreditation by the Panhellenic Medical Association (PIS), with up to 18 CME-CPD credits anticipated, subject to final approval.
