Rhinoplasty

A rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to improve the aesthetic appearance of your nose. The objective is to create a nose that suits your face, looks natural and is pleasing to both you and the observer. At the same time the breathing through your nose may be enhanced by removing a blockage of the nasal airway.

A rhinoplasty can be performed for one or more of the following reasons:

  • to create an aesthetic appearance to a congenitally deformed nose (birth defects)
  • as a plastic surgical procedure if you are displeased with the appearance of your nose
  • as procedure subsequent to cleft lip repair

Botox

The gradual development of facial wrinkles is inevitable and generally represents the early sign of ageing. The most common areas of wrinkling include the forehead, the brows and the outer corner of the eyes (crow's feet). This is mainly related to muscle activity which can be effectively dampened by the use of botulinum toxin, which is a naturally occurring bacterial toxin. This type of treatment to paralyse muscles selectively and reduce wrinkles is commonly known as 'Botox' treatment.

Skin Peels

The skin is composed of two layers. The top layer is the epidermis beneath which lies the dermis. The dermis has two distinct layers called the papillary and the reticular dermis. The two outer layers of skin (epidermis and papillary dermis) may be rejuvenated without permanent scarring using chemical peel procedures. Chemical peel procedures use a chemical solution to remove damaged outer layers of the skin. The skin appears fresher and rejuvenated after the chemical peel procedure.

Face Lift

Face Lift surgery has changed dramatically over the past two decades. Stigmata of early, subcutaneous face lift techniques included an operated, overly lifted and unnatural appearance. Modern face lift techniques no longer apply significant tension to the lifted skin.

Successful surgical scar revision can have profoundly positive effects on a person's appearance and psychosocial well-being.
