Annual Conference in the 33rd Year of The European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery

Dear Colleagues,

It is a great pleasure and honor to invite you to join the 33rd Annual Meeting of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery which will be held in Antalya on September september 1-5, 2010. Facial Plastic Surgery has been growing stronger as a subspeciality every year all over the world, in Europe and in Turkey as well. The European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery acts as a flagcarrier in organizing the educational activities and professional communication in and out of Europe more than 30 years. The Facial Plastic Surgery Society in Turkey was established in 2006 to promote facial plastic surgery. It is also working under the umbrella of EAFPS and the number of its members exceeded over 300 within a short period of time.

A first visit to Turkey, particularly if one is unsure of returning, should include at least four areas: Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya, and Ephesus. The Antalya Region, offering all the mysticism of past in our day, is now called the "Turkish Riviera" due to its archaeological and natural beauties. Antalya is the place where sea, sun, history and nature constitute a perfect harmony and which also includes the most beautiful and clearest coast along the Mediterranean. The coast is surrounded by the finest hotels and summer golf resorts that offer all-inclusive services. Antalya’s International Airport has direct flights from all of the main cities of Europe and Middle-East.

The scientific program will include invited lectures, panel discussions, posters and free papers. We are sure that in addition to prominent names on facial plastic surgery from America, Europe, Asia and Africa as faculty, we will have a lot of guests from all over the world. One of the main reasons for selecting Antalya as the congress venue  is to establish a rich scientific program and to ensure a high number of participants especially from Europe and Middle East. Moreover please bring your families to spend some part of your summer vacation in the famous Mediterranean beaches and luxurious hotels. You may also be introduced to worldwide famous traditional Turkish cuisine and hospitality.
